The Royal Danish Society of Sciences and Letters has published scientific publications since 1745. Today, the company publishes monographs and symposium reports in four series of publications. All manuscripts are peer reviewed before publication.
The company's four series include one biological, two humanistic and one mathematical-physical:
Scientia Danica. Series B, Biologica. Scientific dissertations in the subjects of botany, zoology, paleontology and general biology.
Scientia Danica. Series H, Humanistica, 4. Both humanities series publish scientific dissertations in the subjects of history, philosophy, philology, archeology and art history. This series is in quarter format (26x21 cm) and is mainly used for illustrated works.
Scientia Danica. Series H, Humanistica, 8. Both humanities series publish scientific dissertations in the subjects of history, philosophy, philology, archeology and art history. This series is in octave format (23x15 cm) and is used for text-heavy works.
Scientia Danica. Series M, Mathematics and Physics. The series publishes scientific dissertations in the subjects of mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy and geology.
