We are proud to partner with The Royal Danish Society of Sciences and Letters to distribute their publications.
Since 1745, the Society has been a cornerstone of scientific publishing, producing high-quality monographs and symposium reports. Today, they continue this tradition with four publication series, all of which uphold rigorous standards of peer review prior to publication.
The four series encompass a wide range of disciplines: one focuses biology, two on the humanities, and one on mathematics and physics:
Scientia Danica. Series B, Biologica. Scientific dissertations in the subjects of botany, zoology, paleontology and general biology.
Scientia Danica. Series H, Humanistica, 4. Both humanities series publish scientific dissertations in the subjects of history, philosophy, philology, archeology and art history. This series is in quarter format (26x21 cm) and is mainly used for illustrated works.
Scientia Danica. Series H, Humanistica, 8. Both humanities series publish scientific dissertations in the subjects of history, philosophy, philology, archeology and art history. This series is in octave format (23x15 cm) and is used for text-heavy works.
Scientia Danica. Series M, Mathematics and Physics. The series publishes scientific dissertations in the subjects of mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy and geology.
